What is the essential difference between RCC and steel concrete composite structures

When you say reinforce concrete it is the composite material which have low tensile strength and ductility. The steel reinforcing bars is embedded passively in the concrete before the concrete sets. While composite sections on the other hand can be tag as any section which composed of 2 or more materials. composite sections can be any section that is composed from 2 or more materials.
