how to compensate for the reinforcement lost on core, while doing a core cutting on concrete structure?

The area of reinforcement lost due to core cutting must be calculated and it should be brought to the notice of structural consultant.
Recommendations of structural consultant must be followed for strengthening of the structure if required.
