The technical data presented in Fastening Technology Manual is based on numerous tests and evaluation criteria according to the current state of the art and the relevant European regulations.
 
In addition to the tests for standard service conditions( including, in some cases, seismic as an option), fire resistance, shock and fatigue tests may have been performed.
 
The data and values are based on the respective average values obtained from tests under laboratory or other controlled condition, or on generally-accepted methodology.
