Which are the ways to improve the shear resistance of structural concrete members by prestressing techniques

- Make the element wider.
- Up to certain point, make it taller.
- Specify a concrete with more strength.
- Use more shear reinforcement (either vertical or diagonal)
- Depending on the code, use more flexural reinforcement.
