Can you recommend Hilti spray even in the spandrel , Aluminum is being used replacing GI backpan ?

Hilti CFS-SP-WB is used to extend the fire-rating from concrete floor to spandrel section only. Replacing GI backpan with Aluminum Back pan can be a cause for immediate fire break-outs in spandrel because of its melting temperature, where Aluminum melts at 660 deg C within 6-9 minutes of fire. We would suggest please adhere to certified Intertek document for spandrel design which gives you proper know-how about the system and its protection from Fire and sustaining the fire rating based on requirement.
