Stone Flooring penetration

Cut Stone Exterior Flooring (1970 style natural shapes and large pcs) how to break through it if i want to plant a tree in a circle like hole? usually i'd remove them peace by peace but i'm making a circle hole of 70 cm radius only.

Hi Sir,

I hope the question is how to drill hole in the stone flooring in the current situation. In this case, we can use our Hilti TE 70D AVR tool with TE Y drill bit. Starting with we need to do a pilot drill with 10mm drill bit for a set length of 200mm, further to it to drill with 25mm dia drill bit in the same hole for a depth of 300-350mm as required. Then with required drill hole dia, the final drill can be made with probably 50mm or so.

On another option, we can do Diamond Coring on the rock surface, however the life of the core bit will depend on the strength of the existing stone over there. DD 160/DD 200 with 72mm dia core bit can solve the purpose in a single go. Depending on hole depth, the extension bits can be added to further go in depth.

If the question is otherwise, kindly request to provide more clarity for us to revert better.
Thank you for your query
