what is the limitation for deviation in base plate design?

what is the allowable & acceptable limits for deviation in base plate design some of in my models satisfy all design criteria but deviation limit is above 100 , 200 so guide me how i balance it and in which limits. i attach 1 design file here. thankyou

Hello Rahul,

Please accept apologies for late response from our side due to technical issues.

I believe you are referring to the differences in anchor design forces in relation with anchor #1 which are getting escalated by more than 200%. This is the result of excessive compression under the profile near anchor #3 (image attached). Now, the codes does not actually restrict you in designing flexible baseplates but the anchor design criteria, basically strength assessment in different anchor failure modes contained in EN1992-4 are developed under the assumption of rigid baseplate (please refer clause 6.2 in EN1992-4).

So, it is advisable to control this behavior by either introducing stiffeners around anchor#3 to distribute the forces on a larger baseplate area or thickening the baseplate.
