I made a hole to install a ( hit-v rod ) 12 mm diameter , and 20 mm hole depth , with RE500-sd epoxy in concrete , and because of the intensity of reinforcing steel , the hole become sloping , not vertical on the concrete surface , as shown in file attached , so what is the tensile load in this case after epoxy cured ? is it the same in table ? what is the effect of the sloping of anchor rod on tensile load ?
Thank you for posting your query.
All the data derived for the evaluation of an anchor is based on the results of a series of tests conducted on that anchor. All these tests are conducted for anchor installed perpendicular to the base material, with some tolerance given according to ETAG 001. In such cases where the installation angle deviates to a significantly high amount, performance of an anchor can be evaluated from On-Site Testing to check whether the anchor can withstand the design load (proof load test) since it deviates from standard installation practice.
