Well, that is very difficult to say. There are 2 types of welded joints:-

• Butt Weld
• Fillet Weld

Generally, fillet welds are adopted considering the fact that it is easier to do a fillet weld as compared to a butt weld. But the suitability and economy of the welded joint varies on a case to case basis.
