why do you get similar embedment depth for a simply supported connection with both HY and RE chemicals?

Thank you for posting your query.
The embedment depth is function of various parameters like Concrete Grade, Rebar Diameter, Rebar Spacing, Concrete Edge Distance, Chemical etc. The chemical bond starts governing when the confinement ratio{(Minimum of Rebar Spacing/2, Concrete Edge distance)/Diameter of rebar} is very high.
In most design cases since the confinement ratio is small and hence, the bond strength of chemical is not fully utilized and we get same embedment depth with both RE 500 V3 and HY 200-R chemical.
