This webinar was conducted under the aegis of Seismic Academy in association with Indian Concrete Institute on Seismic Retrofit of Structures...The webinar covered a detailed explanation on the possible reasons for distress in a structure which lead to the adoption of retrofit, with a focus on seismic strengthening of structures. The webinar highlighted the guidelines provided in different segments in the CPWD manual for strengthening of existing buildings. The webinar also covered the different retrofit strategies adopted, with few case studies on RC Jacketing. In continuation to the above, a brief on the assessment and design of post installed rebar connection in the context of RC Jacketing.
