We stand behind our customers, and the quality of our tools, with an industry-leading service promise to match. This is why we offer up to two years of wear and tear coverage with parts, shipping, and labour on us. And we know a tool repair means unproductive downtime - which is why we promise up to three days turnaround in our repair centres to get you back up and running with limited interruption. 

Our 213 tool service promise

Up to 2 years wear and tear coverage: We will repair your tool completely free of charge for up to 2 years from the date of purchase. This includes damage resulting from normal wear and tear. You won't pay for parts, labour or even pick- up and delivery. After the wear & tear period, the cost of paid repairs are capped for the remaining warranty period.

1 month repair warranty: If your tool breaks down within 1 month of a paid repair, we repair free of charge. This also covers wear and tear, free pick-up and delivery.

Repair time promise - 3 or free: We promise to deliver your repaired tool within 3 days* for selected locations, otherwise it’s free.

Additional Promises

3rd Year Repair Cost Limit

Post no cost period, we limit your repair cost in the 3rd year. A charged repair will never cost you more than 20% of the price of a brand new replacement tool. If the actual cost of labour and parts is less, then that is all you'll pay.

Free Pickup and Delivery

We pickup and deliver your tool to your jobsite free of charge.


Our sustainable approach to business always welcomes your old tools whenever you purchase a new one. Additionally, you also get offers when you submit your old tool.

How long does tool repair take?

Let's get started right away - repair cost pre-approvals

A repair quote can delay the entire repair process by 7 days.

With your consent, we’d like to start work on your tool right away. By pre-approving charged repair costs up to the 30% repair cost limit, you eliminate the quotation process – meaning we won’t delay repair work and less downtime for you.

Payment is made at the repair center before collecting your repaired tool. Please note that we accept digital payments only.

How to book tools for repair?

Booking Repairs Just Got Easier With Hilti Online

Simply login or register on Hilti Online to view your Hilti tools, Warranty Status and Repair History and also start a repair request. We'll organise pick-up and return transport to your jobsite.

If the tool is within the 2-year wear & tear warranty, we'll commence work as soon as it arrives at our service centre - same applies for a charged repair, provided your company has pre-approved all charged repair costs.
